Patty is a life-long fiber artist, mother of four children, grandmother of four and a retired small business
owner. She attended the Community College of Vermont and earned a B.A. in Women’s Studies/Fine
Arts from Mount Holyoke College in 2001.
Creativity inspired numerous passions including textile art, painting and fiber spinning. Patty taught
textile arts for over twenty-five years at shops, sheep farms, festivals, the Community College of
Vermont and through private lessons.
A desire to experience and participate globally has taken Patty to Navajo Nation three times and several
trips to Italy with her husband, Gary and his high school art students. Patty is always ready for new
adventures and working with others worldwide.
